Janel Varnadoe, President of J&S Accounting, is a proud Cuban-American and a native of the beautiful Florida Keys. Janel holds a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and a Bachelor’s in Legal Studies. She also holds an Enrolled Agent license with the IRS — the highest credential the IRS awards.
Janel is dedicated to providing excellent service to her clients, building lasting trust, and maintaining the highest standards of security and integrity in every client relationship.

Pfeffer McMaken brings twenty-five years of professional experience supporting small businesses and nonprofits. She understands their unique challenges and opportunities and the importance of sound fiscal management. She provides hands-on services from bookkeeping to grant support, and assists J&S with strategic planning, business development, and communications.

Megan Robertson, a passionate advocate for small businesses, combines her corporate background and marketing degree from Virginia Wesleyan College to offer innovative digital strategy solutions. With experience as a Marketing Consultant and a strong background in finance positions at Fortune 500 companies, Megan is dedicated to delivering excellence and ensuring client satisfaction.

Judith Blankenship is a native New Yorker who has demonstrated outstanding support in fast-paced environments. She attended Baruch College in Manhattan for Business Administration. After working in the legal field for a few years, Judith began supporting a global non-profit organization for fifteen years as a full-time volunteer where she conducted staff development training and contributed to the curricula of such training courses. Now located in Las Vegas, she continues as a part-time volunteer but also enjoys caring for small businesses with their bookkeeping needs as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She enjoys working with and supporting others to make caring for their day-to-day business tasks a pleasant experience.

Lindsay Newman grew up in Huntington, WV, and attended Marshall University and the University of Phoenix. She has built a career in administration, focusing on bookkeeping, payroll, management, and human resources. She brings over 10 years of expertise to the field.
Lindsay is also actively involved in accounting-related activities and affiliations. Outside of her professional life, she is an avid crafter passionate about party planning and holiday decorating. She enjoys reading historical fiction and is known for her exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Beth Lazarczyk brings over two decades of experience supporting clients in the library and nonprofit sectors, with a focus on communication, organization, and customer service. She began her career in archives management after earning her MLS from Simmons University and later transitioned into library technology, where she has spent close to 20 years advocating for public libraries. Today, Beth applies that same attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in her bookkeeping work. After growing up in Vermont and spending most of her life in Colorado, she now calls Savannah home.

Shannon Nelson was born and raised in Chicago and brings over two decades of hospitality experience to her work in bookkeeping. With a Bachelor of Science degree focused in health from Northern Illinois University, she combines analytical skills with a genuine passion for organization and numbers. Shannon loves helping people and their businesses succeed, offering reliability, clarity, and care in every financial detail.
