Mark Your Calendars for National Small Business Week 2024

Tuesday, April 16, 2024

National Small Business Week is right around the corner, and it's time to celebrate the hard work and dedication of small business owners across the country. From April 28 to May 4, 2024, the Small Business Administration (SBA) will officially recognize the contributions of small businesses to the economy. This week is a time to honor the innovation, perseverance, and success of small business owners who play a vital role in driving economic growth.

Celebrate Small Businesses

Supporting small businesses is more than just purchasing merchandise; it's about building a thriving and connected community. During National Small Business Week, we can do a lot to help our local and online stores.

  • If you're going out, try to choose a small café instead of a big chain for your morning coffee, or shop at independent stores for gifts and essentials. Every purchase you make at a small business helps boost the local economy and create more jobs.
  • If you're staying in, show your support by following your favorite small businesses on social media, sharing their posts, and telling your friends about them. By leaving online reviews, you can help these businesses get more visibility and credibility.
  • Many small businesses have also gone online, so you can shop at their websites or participate in virtual markets. This not only gets you unique products and services but also supports the innovation and resilience of these entrepreneurs.

Let's celebrate National Small Business Week by supporting small businesses yearly. As a locally owned and operated accounting business, J&S Accounting proudly supports small businesses nationwide.
